Purpose
Send appointment reminder text messages to users who have opted in to receive SMS notifications for their scheduled meetings and appointments.

Types of Messages

When you opt in to CalendarPA SMS reminders, you may receive the following types of text messages:

  • Appointment Reminders: Reminders sent 24 hours and 1 hour before your scheduled appointments
  • Booking Confirmations: Confirmation messages when a new appointment is booked
  • Cancellation Notices: Notifications when an appointment is cancelled or rescheduled

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your appointment schedule. Typically, you will receive up to 2 messages per appointment (24-hour reminder and 1-hour reminder). Additional messages may be sent for booking confirmations and schedule changes.

How to Opt In

You can opt in to receive SMS reminders through the following methods:

  • During Booking (Primary Method): When scheduling an appointment on any CalendarPA booking page (e.g., calendarpa.com/book/[host]), you will see a checkbox labeled "Send me SMS appointment reminders." Checking this box and providing your phone number constitutes your express consent to receive SMS messages.
  • Account Settings: Logged-in CalendarPA users can enable SMS notifications in their account settings under Settings → Notifications.

By opting in, you confirm that you are the owner or authorized user of the mobile phone number provided and that you consent to receive automated text messages from CalendarPA, operated by Even Seal Productions LLC. No purchase is required to opt in. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

How to Opt Out (STOP)

You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time using one of these methods:

  • Reply STOP: Text STOP to any message you receive from CalendarPA
  • Account Settings: Go to Settings → Notifications → Disable SMS Reminders in your CalendarPA account
  • Contact Support: Email [email protected] to request removal

After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message. You will no longer receive SMS reminders but will continue to receive email notifications unless separately disabled.

Costs & Carrier Rates

Message and data rates may apply. CalendarPA does not charge for SMS messages, but your mobile carrier may charge standard messaging rates. Check with your carrier for details about your messaging plan.

Brazil

Within the United States, SMS is supported on most major carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, Cricket, Metro by T-Mobile, Boost Mobile, and other regional carriers. International carrier support varies by country.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. If your country is not listed above, SMS reminders are not currently available for your region. Email reminders are available worldwide.

Privacy & Data Use

Your phone number and SMS preferences are handled according to our Privacy Policy.

  • We only use your phone number to send appointment-related messages
  • We do not share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes
  • We do not sell your phone number or SMS data
  • SMS services are provided by Twilio, Inc.

Disclaimer

SMS delivery depends on mobile carrier networks and is not guaranteed. Do not rely solely on SMS reminders for critical appointments. CalendarPA is not responsible for messages that are delayed, lost, or undelivered due to carrier issues, network outages, or invalid phone numbers.
